What We Collect

When you create an account, we collect your email address and name. When you use DocSync Pro with cloud storage, we store your uploaded files on our servers. When you use the free tier, files are processed entirely in your browser and never touch our servers.

How We Use Your Data

We use your email to send account-related notifications (welcome emails, share link notifications, payment receipts). We never sell your data to third parties. We never use your files to train AI models or for any purpose other than providing the DocSync service.

File Processing

Free tier: All file renaming happens client-side in your browser using JavaScript. Your files are never uploaded to our servers. Pro tier: Files you explicitly upload to cloud storage or share via links are stored on Supabase (hosted on AWS) with encryption at rest.

Share Links

When you create a share link, the files attached to that link are stored on our servers until the link expires (7 days for free, 1 year for Pro). After expiry, files are permanently deleted.

Payments

Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full credit card number. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment data.

Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication (keeping you logged in). We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics that track you across the web.

Data Deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time by emailing hello@docsync.app. Cloud-stored files can be deleted from your dashboard.
