What is DocSync?
DocSync is a file management platform that lets you rename, organize, and share files. Upload messy files (like IMG_4392.jpg), pick a naming convention, and download them organized. You can also create share links, send file transfers, and get documents e-signed.
Is DocSync free to use?
Yes! The free plan includes 10 files per day, 7 naming conventions, 1 AI suggestion per day, and share links with 7-day expiry. No credit card required. Upgrade to Plus ($5/mo), Pro ($10/mo), or Unlimited ($25/mo) for more features.
What file types does DocSync support?
DocSync supports all file types — PDF, DOCX, XLSX, JPG, PNG, MP4, ZIP, and hundreds more. There is no restriction on file types for renaming and organizing.
How does the AI file naming work?
DocSync uses Claude AI to analyze your files (by name, type, and context) and suggest 5 professional file names. For images, it can describe what is in the photo. Free users get 1 AI suggestion per day; paid plans get 25-unlimited.
Are my files private and secure?
Yes. On the free tier, files are processed entirely in your browser — nothing is uploaded to our servers. Paid features (cloud storage, transfers, e-sign) use encrypted Supabase storage with row-level security. We never access your file contents.
How do share links work?
Upload files, rename them, and click "Create Share Link." You get a short URL that anyone can use to download the files with their clean, renamed names. Links can be password-protected and expire after 7-60 days depending on your plan.
What is the file transfer feature?
File transfers let you send large files to anyone via email. Recipients get a download page — no account needed. Free tier supports 100MB per transfer; paid plans support up to 10GB.
Does DocSync have e-signatures?
Yes! DocSync includes a built-in e-signature feature (available on Plus, Pro, and Unlimited plans). Upload a PDF, place signature fields, and send to signers. Each signature gets a unique verification ID and SHA-256 hash for verification.
Can I integrate DocSync with other tools?
Paid plans include integrations with Google Drive, Dropbox, Slack, Zapier, OneDrive, and more. The Pro and Unlimited plans also include API access for custom integrations.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel anytime from your Account page. Your plan stays active until the end of the billing period. No cancellation fees.
